‘BEASTS OF NO NATION’ Wins a 2016 Peabody Award!

Benenson Productions is thrilled to announce that Beasts of No Nation was one of 11 honorees to receive the Peabody Award in the Entertainment and Children’s category. The critically acclaimed African civil war drama was cited by the Peabody Judges as being “A superbly acted, strikingly photographed film about an African warlord training an orphan child to join his guerrilla army… it never loses sight of their humanity, brutal acts notwithstanding,”.

Named for American businessman and philanthropist George Peabody, the oldest awards in broadcasting are considered among the most prestigious and discerning awards in electronic media.
