LAURIE AND BILL BENENSON JOIN ‘AKICITA: THE BATTLE OF STANDING ROCK’ AS EXECUTIVE PRODUCERS

Laurie and Bill Benenson have joined Native activist and filmmaker Cody Lucich and producer Gingger Shankar as executive producers of Akicita: The Battle Of Standing Rock. Premiering at the Sundance Film Festival on January 23, the film gives an inside look at the spirit and struggle of young Native protesters in their fight against the Dakota Access Pipeline.
