Harrison Ford sends personal letter to Honduran President commending his rainforest preservation efforts

Conservation International (CI) has recently shared a letter with Benenson Productions that was sent from Harrison Ford to President Juan Orlando Hernandez of Honduras complimenting the President’s actions in relation to our project in the Mosquitia Jungle.

Mr. Ford is an avid conservationist, and has served as Vice Chair of CI for more than two decades. In his letter to President Hernandez, Mr. Ford congratulates the President for his commitment to preserving both the natural and cultural patrimony of La Mosquitia, where our film project and CI research continues. Ford refers to President Hernandez as a “responsible government leader,” and underscores the rainforest of La Mosquitia as an “extraordinary, globally significant ecological and cultural treasure”.
